Fashion Awards Future

The ASG Fashion Awards will be postponed for this year and will resume when a more suitable economic climate is with us.

We thank all those who have entered in the past and hope that when the Awards resume that they may enter again.

THE NATIONAL FASHION AWARDS 2008

The 5th National Fashion Awards were held during the Australian Sewing Guild’s National Convention on 2nd October at Marist College, Ashgrove, QLD. This venue was a perfect spot made even more perfect by the hospitality provided by Facilities Coordinator, Garry Lawler and his team. Nothing was a problem or too much trouble, a very special thank you goes to Garry.

This was a first for the ASG National Convention and the evening was graced with stunning garments, a brilliance of colour, a whirl of lush fabrics, dazzling accessories and sparkling smiles.

The National Fashion Awards are proudly sponsored by many supporters from the fashion sewing industry, as listed above, and it was wonderful to see so many of them present on this special evening.  These events are not possible without the wonderful team behind the scenes who give tirelessly of their time to make this event so special. Our thanks go to the judges, all the models; the majority of whom were students; to the fabulous team of ‘angels’, our compere and photographer.
