Unders & Overs Collection
As a brand new initiative to raise funds to supplement the annual Convention we announce the release of the first ASG Collector's Edition of fashion greeting cards titled ‘The 2010 Unders & Overs Collection’.
Six superb quality cards make up a series of fashion illustrations that span from 1900 to 1947. The face of each card shows the highlight fashion of the time and the back cover shows the corresponding under-garments. A brief description of each under and outer fashion piece, includes dates, designer, fashion influences and construction details.
The cards also feature our logo and note that they have been compiled and printed on behalf of the Australian Sewing Guild and give our email and web contact details. The cards are blank on the inside so that you can write your own message, salutation, thankyou or short letter and have accompanying white envelopes.
The cards will sell at major ASG events, such as Conventions, Industry Days, Retreats or Workshops and would make an excellent gift for guest speakers, sewing crazy friends or simply treat yourself to something beautiful!
RRP $8 per pack of 6 cards/envelopes plus post and pack.Contact Merri Sheppard (National Secretary) to purchase a bulk order for your Neighbourhood Group, Region or Special Event E: secretary@aussew.org.au

ASG Travel - Bali 2010
The next adventure begins … BALI 2010 and the Australian Sewing Guild's very popular international travel programme moves into its third year of discovery tours.
Bali has long been a favourite holiday escape for Australians of all ages. The surfers seemed to find it first, but then the secret quickly spread and it became an easy, inexpensive destination for every age group. Shopping has always been one of Bali’s major attractions and most would probably think of hand-carved furniture, pottery, painting, silver and gold work, but have you ever thought of the fabrics?
Oh my goodness! Think of the fabrics…
Land Tour Cost (as of June 2009): A$2,775 (twin-share basis)
Dates: 12 day tour
- Tour 1 – Monday 29th March – Saturday 10th April 2010 (VIC & QLD school holidays)
- Tour 2 – Monday 5th April – Saturday 17th April 2010 (NSW, SA & WA school holidays)
- Tour 3 – Monday 12th April – Saturday 24rd April 2010
Each ASG 2010 tour is a small ‘boutique’ tour. Max travellers per tour – 12
