Madeleine Vionnet's name is synonymous with bias-cut garments.   She was influenced by the artistic theory of "dynamic symmetry".  Her designs have movement, flattering fit and evenly distributed ripples.

At first glance this appears to be a simple circle skirt.  In fact, it is composed of several geometric shapes which enhance the drape and control the distribution of the fabric's weight.

You will draft a pattern for your own measurements and then construct the skirt.
